Notes: SCBC field trip; main lagoon loop and Laurel Creek area;
weather cool and partly cloudy, calm at first, becoming windy with an
approaching front
Number of species: 54

Wood Duck 27 lined up on the dock railing in the early morning
Mallard 50
Green-winged Teal (American) 1 on the dock in the morning with
other ducks
Hooded Merganser 2 on the dock in the early morning, then
swimming upstream with Wood Ducks in the later morning

Black-crowned Night-Heron 1 usual spot south of the floating
